Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or other equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Tutor small groups of students or individuals to supplement classroom instruction.
• In cooperation with Instructor, determine appropriate teaching/learning resources.
• In conjunction with Instruction, develop assessment tools to evaluate student progress.
• Monitor and record student progress using assessment tools.
• Assist staff in program planning and evaluation of services and progress.
• Develop guidelines for program implementation and evaluation.
• Attend orientation and training sessions and schedule meetings.
• Prepare monthly reports of tutoring activities for supervisor.
• Schedule tutoring sessions considering student needs and availability.
• Establish open communication with instructors and counselors within the area.
• Perform other work as required.
