Grade Potential is seeking an experienced math tutor in Charlotte, NC to support a high school student in Honors Integrated Math 2. The tutor will conduct two 1-hour sessions weekly at the family's home, focusing on building independent problem-solving skills.

About the student

• The student is seeking tutoring support for Honors Integrated Math 2. The course blends advanced algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and probability/statistics into a unified course.
  
• The student is doing fine in his class currently, but there is a lot of coursework. He would like to ensure he has solid understanding of the current concepts they are working on in class, so he can continue to excel.
  
• The student's goal is to be confident working independently on his schoolwork.
  
• The student is seeking a tutor who can meet for two 1-hour sessions per week at his family's home in Charlotte.
  
• The student's availability is: Monday & Friday from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm and Tuesday - Thursday from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Requirements

REQUIRED:

• You have experience working with high school students.
  
• You have prior experience teaching/tutoring math.
• You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles)
  
• Due to insurance requirements, applicants must not be a minor.
