About the student

• Adult learner with dyslexia and Asperger's syndrome, seeking general education support.
  
• The student would like general academic support with a focus on strengthening his reading comprehension and mathematical skills.
  
• The student's goal is to strengthen his overall educational foundation and become a more confident, capable learner.
  
• The student is seeking 1-hour tutoring sessions once per week, during his availability: Wednesday and Thursday from 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
• The student is seeking a tutor who can meet for in-person sessions at his home in Monroe.
  

Requirements

REQUIRED

• You have experience teaching/tutoring adult students.
  
• You are willing to travel within your preferred local radius to meet the student (typically 5-10 miles).
  
• Due to insurance requirements, the applicant must not be a minor.

PREFERRED

• You have a teaching certification.
  
• You are Orton-Gillingham certified.
  
• You have experience working with students with dyslexia.
  
• You have experience working with students with Asperger's/autism.
