Job summary

StudentNest Group in Anaheim, CA is seeking tutors to inspire and support high school students in math (Pre-Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2). This is a part-time, school-day aligned role with flexible Mon-Fri or Tue/Thu schedules, perfect for college students with 60 units and tutoring experience.

Responsibilities focus on engaging learners, providing clear explanations, and fostering confidence. Compensation starts at $22 per hour, with $23 for bilingual speakers and $24 for credentialed teachers

• Proficiency in high level math for high school tutoring (Pre-Algebra, Geometry/Algebra 2).
• Ability to complete DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance within 48 hours of an offer.

Job Details

Schedule:

• Various schedules: Mon-Fri & Tues/Thurs, both during the normal school day, morning to early afternoon.
• Part-time placements and substitute opportunities.

Job Highlights

• Pay rate:
  • $22 per hour standard
  • $23 per hour if bilingual (Spanish or other preferred language based on site request)
  • $24 per hour if credentialed teacher or certificated tutor

Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum of 60 units of college credits with a minimum of 1 year of tutoring experience in Math
• Proficiency in high level math as tutoring is for high school students (Pre-Algebra, Geometry/Algebra 2)

• Can complete the fingerprinting process within 48 hours of an offer
• In this role you will need to be able to meet DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requirements for this position
• You can provide 3 professional references
• You have a minimum of 60 units of college credits
• You have at least one year of student-related experience
• You are detail-oriented and highly dependable
• You are an effective communicator
• You have reliable transportation
• You can provide a negative tuberculosis test within 6 months of being hired
