Job summary

KIPP Public Schools Northern California is seeking a Math Teacher to design engaging lessons, use data to guide instruction, and create a classroom where every student learns and thrives.

You will integrate Social Emotional Learning and Restorative Practices to build a joyful, inclusive, and safe community, while collaborating with the Leadership Team and Instructional Coach to grow your practice and student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Eligible for teaching credential or permit (CPR prerequisite for permit)
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and anti-racist practices

Responsibilities

• Develop daily and long-term math lesson plans aligned with KIPP’s vision.
• Analyze student data to inform instruction and growth.
• Foster an inclusive classroom with Restorative Practices and SEL.
• Use culturally responsive management to ensure safety and high expectations.
• Communicate with families and colleagues to build partnerships.
• Participate in weekly professional development and Communities of Practice.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and behavior
