Job summary

David Cox Road Elementary is seeking a Teacher Leader 2 (MCL2) to intensively coach 7-8 teachers on a caseload and lead a collaborative team of educators. The role requires weekly coaching cycles, strong instructional leadership, and alignment with district standards to improve student outcomes.

The MCL2 works closely with the principal and ILT to plan, implement, and refine teaching strategies, and to ensure accountability for student progress across classrooms. Immediate start is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• NC Professional Educator's License required.
• Experience leading/coaching adults in educational settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coach 7-8 teachers on caseload on a regular basis.
• Lead a team of teachers and support staff to improve student outcomes.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs/observations and give data-driven feedback.
• Develop and monitor team goals and instructional plans.
• Collaborate with principal and families to support student success.
