Job summary

Midland Independent School District is seeking a Multi-Classroom Leader (MCL) to supervise a small team of teachers and residents in the same grade or subject. The MCL will co-plan, co-teach, model, coach and provide feedback while teaching part of the day, and will analyze data to drive high-growth learning for every student.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, valid teaching certificate, and at least three years of classroom experience; strong leadership and collaboration with diverse staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Valid teaching certificate required.
• Minimum of 3 years of successful classroom experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of teachers, paraprofessionals, and residents to meet MCL standards.
• Co-plan, co-teach, model, coach, and give feedback.
• Teach students part of the day and organize team to support learning.
• Set roles and goals for team members and align instructional practices.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction based on data.
