The role emphasizes data-driven instruction, daily feedback, collaboration with core-content teachers, and a commitment to equity and inclusion. A Bachelor’s and NYS teaching license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Valid NYS Teaching Licensure required or pursuing certification.
• Minimum two years experience as a school educator.
• Experience in charter or urban schools preferred.
• Flexibility to work outside regular business hours.
• Commitment to inclusive environment and diversity.

Responsibilities

• Develop academic lesson plans based on students' individual learning needs with engaging interventions.
• Use data to monitor progress and adjust learning plans.
• Provide daily feedback on mastery in academics and character.
• Lead small-group tutoring and goal-setting to bridge understanding gaps.
• Perform routine administrative tasks and data entry.
• Collaborate with teachers to support student growth.
• Maintain a positive and calm learning environment.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree

Valid NYS Teaching Licensure or willingness to pursue certification

Minimum of two years of experience as a school educator

Experience in urban communities

Ability to work a flexible schedule outside regular business hours

Ability to create an inclusive environment
