Job summary

Achievers Early College Prep is seeking middle school teachers to strengthen curriculum and instruction through collaboration. Teachers will design and implement assessments, use data to refine instruction, and support students toward high standards.

Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), teaching experience with underserved populations, and valid NJ Teacher Certification (or in progress). Strong communication with students, families, and colleagues is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Teaching experience in upper elementary, middle, or high school with an underserved population.
• Valid NJ Teacher Certification completed or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Provide strong Math instruction and breakdown concepts for small groups.
• Design and implement curriculum and assessments aligned to standards.
• Use data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices.
• Participate in weekly coaching and professional growth activities.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
• Identify students with academic deficiencies using test data and observations.
