LEAD Charter School in Newark, New Jersey seeks a Math Interventionist to support student achievement in Mathematics, focusing on Tier II and III instruction. Reporting to school leadership, the candidate will use data to drive instruction, differentiate with technology, and participate in weekly professional development within the NOYN

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or related field required.
Master’s degree preferred.
Valid New Jersey School Certification in Math (K-8 or 9-12).
Ability to use data to drive student achievement.

Responsibilities

Consult frequently with teachers on math instruction using progress-monitoring data.
Design interventions and write lesson plans for tool-based instruction.
Assist in evaluating programs and recommending changes.
Provide high-quality math instruction to individuals and small groups.
Monitor student progress and communicate results to families and staff.
Collaborate with teachers and families to identify best practices for interventions.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics
