Job summary

• Must be a current staff member of the Bellingham Public Schools.
• Team members will bring diverse perspectives and work collaboratively to complete the next phase of the curriculum review process.

Responsibilities

• Analyze student achievement and other relevant student learning data to identify patterns, strengths, and areas of need.
• Inventory current mathematics curriculum materials, instructional practices, and resources across grades K–12 to understand the current state of the program.
• Conduct an alignment review of curriculum, instruction, and learning expectations across grade levels and with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks.
• Gather qualitative perspectives from educators and families to better understand experiences, strengths, challenges, and needs related to mathematics learning.
• Synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings to identify and prioritize the highest‑leverage areas for improvement.
• Use these identified priorities to develop a theory of action that will guide recommendations and future planning for the district’s mathematics program.
