Job summary

Terracon is seeking a Field Technician to perform field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt and steel, with reporting to the Terracon Project Manager. You will transport samples, document results, and communicate findings while maintaining equipment and ensuring safety on site.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 6 months experience, and ACI certification within 90 days of hire plus a valid driver’s license if required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months experience required.
• A valid driver’s license may be required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire.
• Internal safety certifications completed.

Responsibilities

• Assist on basic testing and observations under supervision.
• Provides clear documentation of findings and results.
• Communicates information to Project Manager and discusses accuracy of data for submittal.
• Submits documentation and communicates results as directed by the Project Manager.
• Be placed in a progressively increased role of training and responsibility in work assignments.
• Maintains assigned equipment.
• Follow safety rules and practices and other safety requirements for all projects.
• Be responsible for maintaining quality standards on all projects.
