Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a diligent field/lab technician to perform testing, observation, and inspection of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel at construction sites. You will support project managers with documenting results and maintaining equipment in a safe, organized manner.

Under supervision, you will collect samples, prepare reports, and communicate findings to the team while following Terracon safety standards and scheduling tasks for timely field projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform field and laboratory testing and inspection of construction materials.
• Communicate testing results and project requirements to the Project Manager.
• Transport samples to the laboratory with documentation.
• Prepare and submit data and observations in written and digital reports.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles, and work areas.
• Assist with scheduling technicians to project sites.
• Adhere to strict safety standards on all projects.
