Job summary

Terracon is seeking a field technician to perform testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials at project sites. You will document findings, analyze basic data, and communicate results to the Project Manager while supporting technicians on complex tasks and maintaining equipment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and certifications in concrete testing or related areas; a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade I certification
• NICET Level II certifications in Asphalt/Concrete/Soils
• ICC certifications in reinforced concrete/structural steel
• ASNT Level II in VT/MT/PT/RT/UT
• AWS CAWI certification advantageous
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Performs testing, observation, and inspection as directed in accordance with training and procedures.
• Provides clear documentation of findings and results.
• Performs basic analysis of data before submission to Project Manager.
• Communicates information to Project Manager and team as directed by PM.
• Assists higher level technicians on complex tasks and maintains equipment.
