Job summary

Terracon Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Construction Materials Technician to join the DFW Metro Construction Materials Team.

You will perform field and laboratory testing on soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel, observe construction activities, and communicate results to the Project Manager. You will transport samples to the lab and prepare reports while maintaining equipment and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ACI certification within 90 days of hire required.
• Nuclear Density Gauge certification preferred within 6 months of hire.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable history may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist on field/lab testing and observations under supervision.
• Document findings clearly and prepare data for submittal.
• Communicate results to Project Manager and other stakeholders.
• Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles and work areas.
• Follow safety rules and conduct pre-task planning.
