Job summary

Terracon in Dallas is seeking a Construction Materials Testing Technician to perform field and laboratory testing of soils, aggregates, concrete, asphalt, and steel, and to document findings for project managers.

You will transport samples, maintain equipment, follow safety rules, and work with project teams. A high school diploma and 1-2 years of experience are required; certifications such as ACI or NICET are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant field testing experience or equivalent training.
• Experience with laptop use and Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Performs field testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials as directed.
• Provides clear documentation of findings and results to the Project Manager.
• Maintains assigned equipment and related calibration; follows safety rules and pre-task planning.
