Job summary

Twining, Inc. is looking for a Laboratory Technician at our Long Beach facility. You will perform soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel testing and enter data into our lab software. May create new work orders and assist with billing entries.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lb, work evenings or weekends, and support other lab departments. Prior experience with construction materials is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with concrete, soils, steel and rebar testing.
• 1+ years experience in testing construction materials.
• Basic mathematics skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform soils, concrete, asphalt, and steel testing.
• Enter samples into our software accurately.
• Create new work orders and enter testing data and billing items.
• Assist in other laboratory departments as needed.
• Assist with pickups and deliveries as needed to support business operations.
• Must be available to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed.
