Job summary

Generac in Missouri seeks a Materials Supervisor to oversee the end-to-end material flow, from receiving through line-side presentation to production, driving accuracy and timely movements for manufacturing.

You will lead a materials team, optimize warehousing operations, and coordinate with Quality, Purchasing and Production to meet key performance indicators and continuous improvement goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of materials leadership experience.
• 2 years of experience leading teams or organizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely material flow within the facility and from receiving to shipment prep.
• Develop and implement processes to boost production efficiency.
• Lead and develop materials staff through training and mentoring.
• Manage daily warehousing operations including staging and storage.
• Oversee inventory accuracy and cycle count procedures.
• Collaborate with Quality, Purchasing and Production to resolve issues and meet KPIs.
• Maintain strong planning-operations communication for customer satisfaction.
• Improve Material/Inventory Management practices including RFID and bar coding.
