Job summary

Generac is seeking a Materials Supervisor to oversee end-to-end material flow from receiving to line-side presentation for production. You will drive improvements in material handling, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, and reporting while leading a team of materials staff.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and 2+ years in materials leadership, with SAP or ERP proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of materials leadership.
• 2 years of experience leading teams, developing people or organizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely material flow within the facility and timely delivery of material to production.
• Develop and implement standard processes and strategies to improve production efficiency.
• Lead and direct materials staff development through education, training, coaching and certification.
• Manage and optimize daily warehousing operations including staging, cycle count, and storage of materials.
• Oversee inventory management and control, accuracy, and inventory guidelines.
