Job summary

Royal Technologies Corp. in Hudsonville, MI is seeking a Materials Supervisor in Training to lead our shipping and receiving teams. A supervisory background and experience with hilo driving are required; you will report to the Materials Manager and support our plant operations.

You will work shifts from 8am–4pm, 4pm–12am, or 12am–8am, with opportunities to develop bench strength for supervisors. Strong attendance and overtime willingness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3–5 years of solid manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with shipping and receiving operations including hilo driving is essential.
• Prior supervisory experience and strong leadership skills are required.
• Experience with material systems/ERP is a plus, especially Syteline.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team in outgoing and incoming shipments.
• Manage inventory control and oversee shipping/receiving tasks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
• Daily use of ERP system (Syteline) and scanners; leverage technology.
• Prioritize tasks and delegate responsibilities within the shipping and receiving teams.

What You’ll Do

Your future starts here! A Materials Supervisor in Training at Royal leads and supports our shipping and receiving teams across the plant. We are looking for people who have a supervisory background in addition to experience in shipping and receiving. Hilo driving experience is essential for this position. This role is open to build our bench strength of Supervisors in Hudsonville. You will work out of our Quincy or Corporate Grove facility in Hudsonville and report directly to the Materials Manager.

• 1st: 8am-4pm
• 2nd: 4pm-12am
• 3rd: 12am-8am

Responsibilities

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

• Experience must include shipping and receiving (hilo driving)
• Current or previous supervisory experience and/or strong leadership skills
• Previous experience working with material systems (ie. ERP systems)
• Syteline experience is a plus
• Willing and able to work overtime (45-50 hours/week)
• Excellent attendance
