Challenge Manufacturing seeks a 2nd shift Supervisor, Materials to lead warehousing and inventory control at our Northlake, TX plant. You will supervise hourly staff, ensure accurate records of inbound/outbound shipments, and support Lean initiatives.

You’ll partner with production, quality and maintenance to optimize material flow, perform cycle counts and physical inventories, and prepare composite reports for leadership.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in materials, logistics, warehousing, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Experience leading hourly teams and driving accuracy in inventory.
• Strong understanding of shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers in verification and record-keeping of shipments.
• Understand and communicate quality policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts; prepare reports from subordinates' data.
• Coordinate with customers on returnable container management; support training and development.
