Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a capable supervisor to oversee workers validating records for incoming and outgoing shipments. You will explain the quality policy, partake in preventative and corrective actions, and help with inventory counts and reporting.

This role is based at our Northlake plant, Texas, on a 2nd shift schedule (4:00PM-2:30AM, Mon-Thu). Ideal candidates have 3+ years in materials/logistics in manufacturing, strong ERP/MRP and Excel skills, and leadership experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; advanced degree preferred.
• Min 3 years in materials, logistics, warehousing, inventory control, or supply chain in manufacturing.
• Leadership/supervisory experience directing hourly team members.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, production scheduling, material flow, shipping/receiving, and warehouse processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; proficiency in Excel, Outlook and Word.
• Ability to analyze discrepancies and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Explain and uphold the quality policy and all relevant procedures and work instructions.
• Participate in preventative actions and perform root-cause corrective actions.
• Attend training and meet scheduled requirements; support physical inventories.
• Work with customers on returnable containers maintenance; prepare composite reports.
