Join us to apply for the Materials Supervisor - 2nd Shift role at Electrolux Group.

This position will be based in Springfield, TN.

About the role:

As a Team Materials Leader, you will guide and direct the efforts of the Materials team in their duties. The Team Leader will teach and instruct the team in proper practices and follow a safety-first approach.

What you’ll do:

• Lead by example in safety practices and ensure a safe workplace for all team members.
• Unload, verify, and receive incoming materials.
• Provide leadership and direction to hourly team members engaged in warehousing, picking, packing, and transporting materials for production support. Stock materials in appropriate warehouse locations.
• Generate material picks and pull materials for assembly line changeovers.
• Verify production line changeovers, identify material shortages, and communicate with relevant personnel.
• Order common parts and deliver changeovers, parts, and bulk materials to production lines promptly to prevent downtime.
• Deliver products to production lines timely to ensure continuous production.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of materials experience.
• Prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Industrial technology degree or equivalent work experience.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders, internal teams, and factories.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to operate a PIV (power industrial vehicle) safely.
