Warehouse Supervisor - $1000 Sign On Bonus (2nd Shift)

Position Summary:

Shift: Sunday - Thursday, 4:30 pm - 1:00 am

$1000 Sign On Bonus for 2nd Shift!

The 2nd Shift Distribution Supervisor is a salaried leadership role responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient processing of workflows in receiving, picking, packing, and shipping within the Retail and DTC distribution environment. Qualified candidates should have working knowledge of automated warehouse systems, focus on process and operational cost improvements, and foster a safe team environment.

Essential Functions:

• Supervise up to 50 associates.
• Drive process improvements focusing on accuracy, customer value, order flow, inventory, and expenses.
• Coach, train, and mentor staff; conduct performance evaluations and career development discussions.
• Monitor labor productivity and KPIs, aiming for continuous improvement.
• Eliminate inefficiencies and non-value-added activities, utilizing decision-making, risk management, and cost analysis skills.
• Demonstrate strong judgment skills in scheduling, planning, and coaching.
• Maintain strong knowledge of Warehouse Control/Order Management systems, especially Manhattan WMS.
• Promote safety and well-being of associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or 5+ years related experience preferred.
• 3-5 years supervisory experience in distribution operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Teamwork and effective communication within diverse teams.
• Proficiency with warehouse management software, preferably Manhattan WMS.
• Experience with process improvement and change management.
• Strong analytical skills, including forecasting and recommendations.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access.
• Customer service policies and procedures knowledge.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Experience communicating with senior management.
• Continuous personal and professional development in supply chain operations.

Physical and Other Requirements:

• Regular computer work; occasional standing, walking, and lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Independent judgment in problem-solving and decision-making.
