Job summary

Burdick Materials, a CRH company, is seeking a Quality Control Technician to manage sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, and asphalt materials. The role requires precise testing, accurate reporting, and occasional driving of a company vehicle.

The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of QC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and familiarity with DOT specifications. Position is full-time and lab-based with safety-focused responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years of QC experience preferred.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and memos.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• WAQTC Certification is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently collect samples for testing.
• Set up, operate and maintain nuclear density gauges for asphalt and soils compaction.
• Follow state DOT and governing agency specifications.
• Perform testing and reporting procedures with accurate documentation.
• Drive company vehicle as required.
• Maintain a clean lab environment and adherence to safety procedures.
