Job summary

Burdick Materials, a CRH Company, seeks a QC Technician to support sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, and asphalt materials. You will operate nuclear density gauges, perform tests per CAPA/LabCAT standards, and report results to the lab lead.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of QC experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. Safety training and accurate documentation are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–2 years QC experience preferred.
• WAQTC Certification and CAPA/LabCAT certifications desired.

Responsibilities

• Safely collect samples for testing.
• Set up, operate and maintain nuclear density gauges for asphalt and soils compaction.
• Test procedures per certification levels and report results promptly.
• Maintain daily test records and submit results to lab supervisor.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and keep the lab clean.
