Job summary

Terracon in Lubbock, TX is seeking a seasoned Materials/Geotechnical Project Manager to lead all aspects of a small to mid-size engineering project, ensuring safety, on-time delivery and adherence to scope and budget.

You will define the project plan with the client, coordinate staff and external contractors, monitor progress, manage invoices and change orders, and communicate status through regular reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science or Geology with a minimum of 5 years’ related experience, or 9 years’ related experience in lieu of a degree.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• PE, PG or similar professional registration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a small to medium sized project.
• Works with client or NAM to define project scope, schedule and budget.
• Design, communicate, and implement a project plan for completing the project.
• Leads safety efforts including preparation and compliance with approved safety plan.
• Take action to resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
• Coordinate with APR and accounting for financial management, invoicing and collections.
