Job summary

Terracon seeks an experienced project manager/engineer to lead large, complex facilities, environmental, or geotechnical projects in Texas. You will manage scope, schedule, budgets, safety, and client communications, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to meet milestones.

Responsibilities include developing plans, allocating resources, tracking progress, and reporting status to clients while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in technical discipline with 10+ years' experience, or 14 years without degree.
  • Valid driver's license may be required.
  • Professional registration (PE/PG) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of a large scale and complex project.
  • Define project scope, schedule and budget with client or NAM.
  • Lead interactions with client and stakeholders to ensure goals are met.
  • Design, communicate, and implement a project plan for completion.
  • Lead safety efforts and ensure compliance with safety plan.
  • Identify and allocate necessary resources to complete the project.
  • Prepare designs and work specifications, budgets and forecasts.
  • Monitor expenditures and manage scope to meet budget.
  • Coordinate with APR and other departments for oversight and resources.
  • Prepare project meetings and status reports for the client and team.
