Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a procurement and materials professional to lead and support material project teams, drive change management initiatives in NPD, VAVE, and supply chain improvements, and set up material flow on the factory floor.

You will analyze requisitions, develop supplier onboarding, maintain PFEP data, optimize inventory, and coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve supplier issues, while applying BOS and lean methods.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or 10+ years planner/buyer manufacturing experience.
• APICS (CPIM) certification preferred.
• Experience with ERP and Lean manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform timely, cost-conscious procurement of production/inventory/MRO items.
• Receive and analyze requisitions to determine quantity, specifications and delivery requirements.
• Develop and on-boarding of new selected suppliers relative to material planning.
• Ensure up-to-date ABC classification is maintained for PFEP planning.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance to resolve supplier quality issues.
• Implement visual management systems (6S, standard work, WMS locations) in change projects.
