Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking a Materials Planning Manager to lead two critical teams—local sourcing of service parts and materials purchase/PO invoice reconciliation. You will drive supplier performance, optimize inventory, and ensure strong financial controls.

The role requires 7+ years in procurement/operations, 3+ years in leadership, and a Lean/continuous improvement mindset. You will influence across Supply Chain, Finance, AP, and field operations while coaching talent.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or associate degree with 7+ years of relevant experience required.
5+ years of experience in sourcing, purchasing, materials planning, or related functions.
3+ years of people leadership or team management experience preferred.
Experience with purchase orders, receipts, and invoice reconciliation preferred.
Lean or Operational Excellence mindset and familiarity with KPI management.

Responsibilities

Lead daily operations of two teams: sourcing/purchasing and PO receipt/invoice reconciliation.
Drive timely, cost-conscious procurement of local items for stores and customers.
Coach, develop, and manage performance; establish priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Partner across Supply Chain, Finance, AP, BOS, Retail Planning, and field operations.
Lead process improvements, standard work, and Lean initiatives.
