Job summary

Trane Technologies seeks a Materials Planning Manager to lead local sourcing of service parts and to manage materials purchasing and invoice reconciliation. This role reports to the Supply Chain leadership and partners across Finance, Accounts Payable, BOS, Retail Planning, and field operations.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in sourcing, planning, and leadership within a fast-paced environment, with strong ERP experience and Lean passion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or associate degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.
• 5+ years in sourcing, purchasing, materials planning, retail operations, or related function.
• 3+ years of people leadership or team management.

Responsibilities

• Lead two teams: sourcing/purchasing of local service parts and PO/invoice reconciliation.
• Coach and develop talent; drive Lean and continuous improvement across cross-functional partners.
• Ensure timely quotes, parts availability, and accurate GRNI and AP processes.
• Monitor KPIs: quote turnaround, parts availability, aging GRNI, cycle times.
