Job summary

RNInk in McDonough, GA is seeking an experienced Production Control & Materials Supervisor to lead daily production scheduling, material coordination, and inventory control at our new facility.

You will ensure material availability, maintain accurate records, and collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to minimize disruptions and support on-time deliveries; hands-on leadership and continuous improvement mindset required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred; equivalent manufacturing experience will be considered.
• 3–5 years of experience in production control, material planning, inventory management, or manufacturing operations preferred.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong understanding of production scheduling, MRP, inventory control, and manufacturing workflows.
• Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems; SAP and MES experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain daily and weekly production schedules based on demand, material availability, and capacity.
• Monitor production output against schedules and communicate adjustments to teams.
• Collaborate with leadership to resolve scheduling conflicts and minimize downtime.
• Track production performance and provide updates to management.
• Monitor raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and production teams to address shortages and discrepancies.
• Oversee inventory transactions, movements, and cycle counts.
• Identify opportunities to improve material flow and reduce waste.
• Maintain ERP/MRP records, production orders, and inventory accuracy in systems.
• Prepare production reports and monitor KPIs related to scheduling and material availability.
• Provide daily direction to production control and materials personnel.
