Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking Materials & Processes Engineer Interns to work with design, manufacturing and quality teams to optimize materials and processes on the production floor. You will assist with parameter development, material and process selection, drawing reviews, and qualification test campaigns while coordinating with external vendors.

The role offers hands-on experience, mentorship from engineers, and exposure to other parts of the organization.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree program in materials engineering or materials science.
• Experience with TPS and composite materials is desirable.
• Lab experience and production facility exposure are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Optimize materials and processes on the production floor.
• Support parameter development and material/process selection.
• Conduct drawing reviews and manage qualification test campaigns.
• Interact with external vendors and perform audits as needed.
