Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, Alabama, is looking for Materials & Processes Engineer Interns to join our team for a 15-week summer program. You will collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality to optimize materials and processes on the production floor, providing ongoing support to existing configurations.

Interns gain hands-on experience, receive mentorship from experienced engineers, and participate in organization-wide events.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program with at least one semester remaining after the internship.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for mission and vision.

Responsibilities

• Support materials and processes optimization on the production floor with design, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Assist with parameter development, material/process selection, and drawing reviews.
• Manage qualification test campaigns and interact with external vendors.
