Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking Materials & Processes Engineer Interns to join our team on the production floor, collaborating with design, manufacturing, and quality to optimize materials and processes. You will support parameter development, material and process selection, drawing reviews, and qualification testing while interacting with external vendors.

The internship offers hands-on experience, mentorship from managers, and exposure to other parts of the organization, with housing and relocation

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program and have at least one semester or quarter of school remaining after the internship.
• Available to work full time for a minimum of 15 weeks while not concurrently enrolled in coursework.
• Strong written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Interest in Blue Origin's mission.

Responsibilities

• Materials & Processes Engineer Interns may work with design, manufacturing, and quality to continue optimizing materials and processes while providing ongoing support to existing configurations on the production floor.
• Support activities such as parameter development, material/process selection, drawing reviews, manage qualification test campaigns, interact/audit external vendors, etc.
