Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking early‑career engineers to join our teams across multiple U.S. locations to tackle material challenges in spaceflight systems. You will review production drawings, select materials, and help optimize manufacturing processes for both metallic and non‑metallic hardware.

Collaboration with quality, design, structures, thermal, integration, and manufacturing teams is essential to meet engineering goals. The role supports entry‑level candidates who earned a B.S.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, polymer engineering, welding engineering, geology/geosciences and mining engineering or related field.
  • Internship/co‑op and/or hands‑on experience demonstrating development of technical skills and leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a hardworking team to address material challenges in spaceflight systems.
  • Review production drawings for large, complex assemblies to ensure appropriate material selection and process implementation.
  • Develop, document, and optimize manufacturing processes for metallic and non-metallic hardware.
  • Select materials and define design requirements to meet engineering, structural, and program goals.
  • Work with cross‑functional teams to optimize overall system design and performance.
