Job summary

RTX (Raytheon) in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a seasoned Materials Manager to lead Material Planning and Production Control on site. You will drive MRP activities, manage SAP/ERP data, and optimize inventory while coordinating with Operations and Procurement to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Experience in MRP functionality and exp

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance the Material Planning and Production Control organization, establishing disciplined processes and clear accountability
• Drive daily MRP, material planning, and production control to maintain material readiness for production execution
• Manage SAP/ERP/MRP data, planning parameters, and inventory transactions
• Establish and monitor Materials performance indicators using data-driven analysis
• Develop and execute inventory strategies optimizing availability and turns
• Partner with Operations, Procurement, and cross-functional stakeholders to align material priorities
• Coach Production Controllers to strengthen planning discipline and analytics
• Oversee Warehouse and Logistics operations ensuring safe, accurate, timely execution
• Provide leadership reviews and identify training needs to enhance skills
• Serve as site Materials point of contact for Government Property and compliance actions
• Lead CORE system implementations and continuous improvement in Materials and Logistics
• Communicate with senior leadership regarding performance, risks, and recovery plans
• Lead readiness and adoption for major system changes
