Job summary

Raytheon Missiles & Defense Andover is seeking a Principal Specialist Materials Planning to join the Materials Planning and Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning team. You will manage day-to-day material availability, align purchases to manufacturing value streams, and drive data‑driven decisions across cross‑functional partners.

The role requires leadership with a track record in supply chain, manufacturing or finance, plus knowledge of MRP systems such as SAP PRISM and lean concepts. U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years’ experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering or Finance
• Experience in Material and Inventory Control-type systems such as Kanban, SMI, Continuous Flow Manufacturing
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Monitor important system health metrics and key performance indicators weekly and monthly
• Provide support to team and leadership for reporting and analysis as required by our internal customers
