Job summary

You will drive supplier performance, maintain ERP data (IQMS), manage site purchasing, and align supply with demand through planning processes. The role leads a materials team and focuses on cost reduction and inventory optimization to support operations and service levels.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in materials management, purchasing, or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing site-level purchasing; multi site experience is a plus.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience.
• Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in procurement best practices and negotiation.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross functional collaboration.
• Ability to interpret data and drive decisions using KPIs and metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong problem solving and root cause analysis abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the MRP process based on production schedules and demand forecasts.
• Maintain forecasts and visibility of on-hand inventory.
• Identify supply risks and communicate impacts to operations.
• Lead site purchasing of raw materials, packaging, and supplies.
• Monitor supplier performance and coordinate recovery plans for disruptions.
• Improve inventory accuracy and implement cycle counting.
• Collaborate with Production, Scheduling, Engineering, and Finance.
• Maintain ERP data accuracy (IQMS) including BOMs and lead times.
