Job summary

Bio-Techne is seeking a Senior Manager, Materials in San Jose to lead Materials Planning, Purchasing, and Warehouse/Materials Operations. This role ensures seamless material flow for manufacturing and supports production schedules, while driving cross-functional alignment and continuous improvement in a regulated life sciences environment.

The position requires senior expertise in materials management, strong leadership, and a track record of optimizing ERP/MRP processes to meet quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 8+ years in materials management, purchasing, inventory or manufacturing supply chain operations.
• 3+ years of leadership experience overseeing teams or multiple functions.
• Experience in life sciences, biotechnology, diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or regulated manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead Materials Planning, Purchasing, and Warehouse/Materials Operations teams.
• Ensure timely material availability to meet production schedules and customer needs.
• Drive continuous improvement, standardization, and ERP/MRP utilization across functions.
• Collaborate across planning, purchasing, warehousing, manufacturing and quality.
• Maintain material traceability, inventory controls, and regulatory compliance.
