Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or engineering required.
• Six+ years of related managerial and logistics experience.
• Experience in a unionized manufacturing environment preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, organization, and service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with urgency and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Schedule in-bound, inter-plant, and out-bound materials and logistics with Lean principles.
• Control inventory levels; conduct physical inventory and cycle counts; ensure accuracy in ERP.
• Ensure material availability to support production requirements.
• Direct production planning and scheduling based on forecasts.
• Develop and implement material handling procedures for safe material movement.
• Oversee shipping and receiving of purchased parts and finished goods.
• Provide guidance to scheduling and materials personnel to meet performance objectives.
• Publish daily/weekly/monthly metrics per scorecard process.
• Coordinate with Corporate Materials for supplier development and plant liaison.
