Job summary

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field is expected, with a 10-week summer program including a prepaid stipend and opportunities for professional development. On-site work is required for the duration.

Responsibilities

• Following MDIs and Standard Work Instructions to determine material requirements and approve demand/supply for materials.
• Determine MRP policies and maintain inputs for material ordering and control.
• Release replenishments and drive requirements through the MRP system.
• Use bills of materials, schedules, forecasts, and engineering info to assure on-time supply.
• Review changes and adjust production orders as needed.
• Analyze shortages to identify causes and coordinate corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in area team walks and continuous improvement activities.
