Job summary

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, management, or relative field.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. for Textron Aviation; visa sponsorship not available.
• Summer internship is 40 hours per week for 10 weeks.
• Candidates must be onsite for the entirety of the internship.

Responsibilities

• Following MDI and Standard Work Instructions to determine material requirements and approve demand/supply.
• Determine MRP policies and maintain inputs for material ordering and control.
• Release replenishments and drive requirements through the MRP system.
• Use BOMs, master schedules, and planning data to ensure on-time supply.
• Review engineering changes and quality information for production orders.
• Analyze shortages and coordinate with cross-functional teams for resolution.
• Participate in area team walks and continuous improvement activities.
