Job summary

Textron offers a 10-week, full‑time internship in Production Control & Logistics at the Interiors Manufacturing Facility in Wichita. You will work on real projects, supporting material requirements planning and inventory optimization with mentorship from experienced professionals.

The program emphasizes hands-on experience, collaboration across supply chain disciplines, and professional development. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in supply chain, management, or relative field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintaining system integrity of material requirements and replenishments.
• Optimize inventory levels, production capacity, and material management.
• Determine MRP policies and inputs for ordering and control.
• Release replenishments and drive requirements through the MRP system.
• Utilize BOMs, master schedules, and forecasts to ensure on-time supply to customers.
• Review engineering and planning information for production order adjustments.
• Analyze shortages and coordinate cross-functional teams for resolution.
