Job summary

AeroVironment is seeking a Materials Planning Associate Analyst at our Albuquerque, NM site. The role focuses on inventory control, production scheduling, and material coordination to mitigate risks and ensure smooth manufacturing flow.

The candidate will work with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle-like), collaborate across units, and support ITAR/EAR compliance while maintaining accurate inventory data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years in supply chain, engineering, or project management.
• Experience with modern ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) in manufacturing environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools; ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production schedules with business unit master schedules.
• Create work orders for material kitting and provisioning to manufacturing.
• Communicate material lead times and inventory risk.
• Align procedures across multiple organizations and databases.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to influence build routing.
• Monitor procurement performance and address issues proactively.
• Analyze work in process and update part/material status in systems.
• Coordinate raw material post-processing with external vendors.
• Resolve discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Coordinate with functional groups to meet production priorities.
