Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a Materials Supervisor in Gaffney, SC to lead shipping/receiving, material storage, sequencing, and delivery to support production goals.

You'll drive Lean initiatives, manage KPI performance, coach team members, and coordinate with logistics partners to ensure on-time, accurate material flow and continuous improvement across safety, quality, and cost metrics.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in business administration or logistics/supply chain management preferred.
• 4 years of relevant experience, or 6+ years leading teams in manufacturing/logistics.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead shipping/receiving, storage, kitting, sequencing, delivery, expediting, and auditing.
• Drive safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, and environmental performance.
• Track time/absenteeism using Kronos and manage the materials scorecard.
• Plan manpower, overtime, and balance workloads; implement Lean and TPS concepts.
• Develop and coach team members; support continuous improvement initiatives.
