Qualifications

• 5+ years in materials management or supply chain in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, procurement, logistics and production planning processes.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Agresso, Microsoft Dynamics).

Responsibilities

• Lead with safety, maintain quality, and ensure on-time delivery with optimal cost and inventory management.
• Provide leadership for planning and scheduling to support receipts, shipments and logistics costs.
• Develop and implement material management strategies to support manufacturing operations.
• Oversee procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and purchasing to forecast material availability.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels to meet production demands.
• Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve supply issues.
• Manage warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and distribution.
• Lead and develop the materials team and enforce safety policies.
• Monitor material and logistics costs, identify cost savings opportunities.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and ERP/MRP data integrity.
• Drive continuous improvement and lean practices within Fortive Business System.
