Job summary

Fluke Corporation, a Fortive company, is seeking a multifaceted Buyer/Planner to procure materials, manage supplier relationships, and align with SIOP and manufacturing schedules. You will analyze demand, drive lean inventory strategies, and collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Planning teams to meet commitments.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in manufacturing supply chain and 3–5 years in purchasing/planning within lean environments, with strong Excel and data-analysis skills.

Qualifications

• H bachelor’s degree in manufacturing supply chain or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, planning and inventory control.
• Proven ability to improve processes and manage multiple projects.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools.
• Strong collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Sales and Management.

Responsibilities

• Procure materials for custom sales orders and forecast orders.
• Request quotations and coordinate with Sales, Engineering & Materials Team.
• Review materials against schedules to meet the demand plan.
• Resolve vendor line stopping issues and ensure quality/delivery standards.
• Analyze supply/demand at item, order and master schedule levels.
• Collaborate to align vendors with SIOP commitments.
• Work with QA/Engineering to hold vendors accountable (SCARs).
• Drive lean inventory strategies to reduce inventory.
• Create paperwork for USMCA, COO, Reach, RoHs & Prop65.
• Support NPI launches from design to production.
• Back-up for other Buyer/Planner; maintain standard work.
