Job summary

International Motors is seeking a Materials Management Supervisor for its San Antonio operation. You will lead a team overseeing kitting and conveyance, ensure accurate inventory, and drive continuous improvement across materials systems.

The role supports day shift initially, transitioning to night shift as the plant ramps up in mid‑2027. The position requires a bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years in materials management or supply chain, or an advanced degree with relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 2+ years in materials management or supply chain.
• Master's degree plus 1+ year in materials management or supply chain preferred.
• At least 5 years of materials management or supply chain experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage a team to support daily production needs in kitting and conveyance.
• Maintain and audit accurate inventory.
• Develop the team and foster career growth.
• Apply root cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent interruptions.
• Maintain and improve policies, procedures, and material control systems.
• Assist with inventory control system establishment and maintenance.
• Plan staffing, overtime, and coverage to minimize downtime.
• Drive safety improvements and promote a strong safety culture.
• Coordinate with General Assembly, Quality, Engineering and other production departments.
• Develop 5s schedules and maintain 5s in assigned stations.
• Lead cross-functional projects and activities.
