Job summary

Sigma Design in Camas, Washington seeks a Shipping, Receiving, and Materials Manager to lead daily operations, manage inventory and internal material movement, and ensure ERP accuracy. You will set priorities, assign work, develop the team, and uphold safety, throughput, and process standards.

Responsibilities include inbound/outbound shipping, cycle counts, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to mitigate risks to production and delivery schedules.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of progressive experience in shipping, receiving, material handling, warehousing, logistics.
• Experience leading six or more employees in warehouse or logistics.
• Experience using ERP or inventory-management systems; NetSuite preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, documentation, and follow-through.
• Ability to convert priorities into clear daily assignments and adapt to changing requirements.
• Commitment to Sigma Design Core Values and pass a post-offer background verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Shipping, Receiving, and Materials operations with workload planning and staffing coordination.
• Coach and train employees, reinforcing safety and procedures.
• Ensure inbound materials are unloaded, inspected, recorded in ERP, and routed properly.
• Oversee outbound shipments, packaging, carrier coordination, documentation, and scheduling.
• Maintain inventory integrity through timely transactions and cycle counts.
• Investigate variances, damage, and discrepancies to determine root causes.
• Ensure materials are identified, organized, stored, and moved efficiently between areas.
• Coordinate daily material priorities with internal stakeholders and manage risks.
• Maintain clean, safe warehouse areas and escalate urgent issues as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and standard work updates.
